Don't learn any slang

Unless you are going to spend a lot of time in the same city or country.
From my point of view, learning slang is a waste of time. Even when you want to have a great interaction with the locals, it will be much more important to learn courtesy formulas such as asking for something to drink, permission to go to the bathroom, talking with the authorities, etc.
It may be useful to learn some expressions that need to be avoided in order not to sound offensive, but undoubtedly, if a foreigner uses them it will not be as bad seen as a local. the listeners will understand that it is a person who does not dominate the language and does not have to know about this kind of expressions, especially if they are vulgar expressions or with a pejorative connotation.
The slang changes so much from one region to another in the same country or, even, in the same city that it doesn't make any sense to invest time and neurons in learning it. As a traveler, you must learn the standard Spanish that is spoken in the news, that is written in the newspapers, that appears on the signs, that is spoken in the high voice of the airport and is read in the travel guides. You will not find a single word of slang in such media.
